Most of the times there are conflicts between human activities and the environment, which is usually negatively affected in consequence. My personal interest is helping to understand these affections by describing land cover change dynamics in the context of wildlife habitat and natural resources availability. I use Remote Sensing as a very useful tool for analyzing these changes on bigger scales.
Right now I'm working trough my doctoral degree in forestry by making large temporal and spatial land cover change analysis in Mexico. I'm looking to observe both deforestation and degradation processes in multiple forest ecosystems.
My free time goes from living room music-listening/reading sessions to hiking/biking when I have the chance. My constant willingness for traveling has allowed me the opportunity of learning from other people and cultures.
