I conduct empirical environmental analysis. In particular, much of my research has focused on land use policy and land-use change. My goals as a researcher are to address the effects of policy on both social and natural systems. Methodologically, I incorporate econometric methods, land use simulations, and coupled natural human system modeling approaches.
If I am not in the lab you will likely find me fly fishing in the summer and cross county skiing in the winter.
