Research interests

My research interests involve understanding how human actions affect ecosystem processes. Projects I have worked on include understanding how lions are affected by temperature under climate change and how plants and animals in forest and desert ecosystems are affected by changing fire regimes. My work at UW Madison will focus on how spread of plant disease in forests affects black bear populations.

Personal interests

I love playing sports, mostly rugby but I enjoy anything with a ball. I also love to eat and spend time outside.
