Research interests

My interests lie in applying remote sensing and GIS for wildlife conservation in practice. When you work at small environmental NGO you get a wide experience, such as applying environmental laws for lawsuit’s, conducting environmental education classes for children or being member of mobile fire crew and etc. But year by year I more concentrate on work with GIS and use GIS for nature protection goals, for example: participation at elaboration of new protected areas, forest disturbance mapping and work on rare species distribution modeling.
