Research interests
My main research interests are landscape and spatial Ecology. I am especially interested in understanding the spatio-temporal effects of disturbances (man-made and natural) on landscape structure and species diversity, and how can we optimize disturbance based-management for conserving various landscape values. For these purposes, I use GIS, ecological modeling, remote sensing data, and image processing techniques.
Personal interests
I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids, traveling around, and running.
