Research interests

Being affiliated with UW, I also work for Wildlife Conservation Society Arctic Beringia Program. We strive to protect vulnerable ecosystems of the Arctic and Far East, as well as other cool places in the post-Soviet world. Amur tigers, Red-crowned cranes, spectacled eiders, just to name a few, are my focus species.

Personal interests

I enjoy reading, dancing, mountaineering, canoeing and camping.
