Research interests
My research interests center on endangered shorebirds (particularly Nordmann’s Greenshank) of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway and how we can use movement data in concert with remote sensing and geospatial analysis to improve their conservation outlook.
Personal interests
Besides bird watching, berry picking, and foraging for mushrooms, I enjoy riding my bicycles, running, backpacking, and escaping into classic novels. I play guitar (poorly), make clay Baba Yaga hut sculptures, and taxidermy. I never turn down an opportunity to play Super Smash Bros.
