Currently, I am working on the effect different near home vegetation variables have on building survival during wildfires. I am also generally interested in disturbance ecology, and the interaction of disturbances (particularly between wildland fire and other disturbances) in a changing climate.
I love to be outside, whether it is out backpacking, camping, rock climbing, and snowboarding, or if I’m just out on a walk or sitting by the lakes and looking at all the critters and plants! I also love going to local events and doing everything that Madison has to offer with my friends.
